    In July of 2010, DJ Dmallz and DJ JayBee started work on a project originally intended for the Worcester-based rap group, The Dutchmasters.

    Using jazzy samples from years past, and bangin' drum sounds to boot, The Prospects give you "Loops of the Fruit", using nothing but samples, FL Studio 9, and two digital 8-tracks used in conjunction.

    The album is completely instrumental with minimal vocal samples, and contains elements of hip-hop, trip-hop, electronica, groove, and jazz.

    A future project involving the Dutchmasters and the music found on this album could be in the works, but as of right now, The Prospects will continue to kick out the dopest instrumentals you'll ever hear, with a more organic feel than what you will find on mainstream radio today.     ... more
